At Areesheh Academy, we want you to be satisfied with your learning experience. This policy explains your refund options clearly and transparently.
ℹ️ Two Types of Refunds
This policy covers two different refund rights. Understanding the difference is important:
Withdrawal (Section 1)
Basis: EU Consumer Law
Timeframe: 14 days from BOOKING DATE
Refund: 100% (no reason needed)
Example: You book on Jan 1, course starts Feb 15. You can withdraw until Jan 15 for full refund.
Cancellation (Section 2)
Basis: Our voluntary policy
Timeframe: Based on days until COURSE START
Refund: 100% / 50% / 0% (graduated)
Example: Course starts Feb 15. Cancel on Feb 1 (14 days before) = 100%. Cancel on Feb 10 (5 days before) = 0%.
1. Statutory Right of Withdrawal (14 Days from Booking)
As an EU consumer, you have a statutory right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of BOOKING, regardless of when the course starts. No reason is required. This is your legal right under EU consumer protection law.
⚠️ The 14 days are counted from your booking date, NOT from the course start date.
What is covered
- All course bookings within 14 days of booking
- Full refund of course price
- No reason required
How to withdraw
- Send an email to support@areesheh.com with subject 'Withdrawal'
- Include your name, booking number, and booking date
- Alternatively, use the sample withdrawal form on our withdrawal page
Exception
If you consented to service execution before the withdrawal period expired and the course has already started, the refund will be calculated proportionally.
2. Cancellation Policy (Based on Days Until Course Start)
This policy applies when the 14-day withdrawal period has passed OR you prefer to cancel based on course timing. The refund amount depends on how many days remain until the course starts:

| Less than 7 days before course start | No refund | Rebooking or substitute participant possible |
The date of receipt of your cancellation notice is decisive.
3. Alternatives to Cancellation
If you cannot attend the course, we offer the following alternatives:
Rebook to a later course
You can rebook free of charge to a later course, subject to availability. This is also possible at short notice.
- Same or lower course value
- For higher course value: difference payment required
- One rebooking per booking
Designate a substitute participant
You can designate a substitute participant to take your place at any time.
- Substitute must meet course criteria
- Notification by email before course start
- No additional fees
4. Course Cancellation by Us
In rare cases, we may need to cancel a course:
- Minimum participant number not reached
- Instructor illness without replacement option
- Technical problems making teaching impossible
- Force majeure
Your Options:
Full refund
You will receive 100% of the course price back.
Rebook to alternative date
We will offer you an alternative course date.
We will inform you as early as possible, at least 3 days before course start.
5. Missed Classes
For classes missed during the ongoing course:
- No refund entitlement for missed classes
- No entitlement to make-up sessions
- Access to recordings (if available) remains
- For illness with medical certificate: individual solution by arrangement
6. Refund Process
This is how the refund works:
Submit request
Send an email to support@areesheh.com with booking number and reason.
Confirmation
You will receive confirmation within 2 business days.
Processing
The refund will be processed within 14 days.
Credit
The refund will be made to the original payment method (Stripe).
Actual credit to your account may take 3-5 business days depending on your bank.
7. Special Cases
Installment payments
For installment payments, special conditions apply:
- Withdrawal within 14 days: Full refund of installments paid
- Later cancellation: Graduated refund per cancellation policy
- Non-payment of installment: No course access until payment
Vouchers and discounts
For course bookings with vouchers or discounts:
- Voucher value is not refunded upon refund
- Only the amount actually paid is refunded
- Vouchers cannot be reactivated
Group bookings
For bookings for multiple participants:
- Individual participants can cancel
- Proportional refund per participant
- Booker is responsible for all cancellations
